Get Elevated Foundation hosted The Global Leadership and Entrepreneurs Summit from May 31st to June 2nd. Friday evening started with networking, Saturday and Sunday had 12 international speakers on business and personal development topics. The event wrapped up with a Dinner and Awards. Below please find the vision and mission statements of the Get Elevated Foundation as well as the list of the award winners.
Kennedy Iden is the founder and CEO of the Get Elevated Foundation which is based in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.
This fabulous event was held at the Hilton Garden Inn Toronto Airport West, Mississauga
Vision
Our vision is to help members of the new immigrant community in Canada become successfully orientated and fully integrated with local residents that are strong contributors to our community.
Mission
GET ELEVATED is a non-profit organization that was created more than 10 years, with the mission to address numerous needs of diverse newcomers to countries like Canada and in the future other countries will also be included in our programs: United Kingdom, Untied States, New Zealand, Australia, Botswana, Ghana, Swaziland, Kenya, Nigeria, and Libya, Tanzania, Madagascar, Mauritius, and Seychelles.
Get Elevated Award Winners
These award winners are excellent examples of people who are strong contributors to our community. In many cases, their efforts extend far beyond their local community into national and in some cases international communities.
Awards included emerging leader (Abi Adekiton) and Lifetime Leadership Award (Mayor Patrick Brown, City of Brampton, Ontario) and many other categories. Each winner’s nomination information and biography were delivered before the announcement and presentation of the award.
Almost all of the award winners were available to receive their award in-person at the dinner on Sun June 2, 2024. Attached please find a group picture of award winners and one of Mayor Patrick Brown receiving his award.

Certainly! While in Canada with a conference visa, you can transition to a work permit. Before beginning this transition, it's essential to have a job offer in hand and then apply for the work permit from within Canada.

Yes! Your registration includes daily breakfast and lunch, as well as coffee and snack breaks throughout the event.
Grab a digital registration form from our brand ambassadors or download directly from our website. Simply fill out the form. If you prefer a physical copy, print it out, complete it, and email it along with your payment details to register@getelevatedsummits.org.
Certainly, you can cancel your registration by submitting a written request. If you decide to cancel your registration within one week of completing your registration form and before the visa processing starts, you'll be refunded in full, excluding a $250 refund processing fee.
Please note that depending on the when you cancel, a full refund might not be available, and there could be associated cancellation/administration fees. For detailed information, refer to our Cancellation and Refund Policy on the website.
Once the visa processing begins (one week after we receive your completed registration form and full conference fee), we cannot halt or refund the visa application cost. Any cancellation at this point will result in a refund for the conference and hotel accommodation fees, subject to the following refund policy:
- More than 3 months before the event: 100% refund, minus the processing fee and GST.
- Up to 2 weeks before the event: 50% refund, excluding the processing fee and GST.
Less than 10 working days before the event: No refund available.
Please allow 6-8 weeks for the processing of refunds. A processing fee of $250, and any applicable credit card convenience fees, are non-refundable.
Don't worry! We'll handle your application for our upcoming conference without additional charges, only the Canadian visa fees will apply.
While visa application fees are non-refundable, we can partially refund your registration fees after deducting processing charges, or we can reserve a spot for you at our next conference at no additional charge.
Visa processing can range from 2 to 6 months. We strongly recommend registering early and initiating your visa application promptly to secure your spot at the conference!
