For members who need additional flexibility, we work with the counselling providers to offer payment plans that allow for affordable monthly instalments.
Our goal is to remove as many financial barriers as possible so that all community members can access the mental health support they require. We encourage anyone interested in our counselling services to speak with our staff, who can provide more details on the available insurance, fee, and payment options.
The sliding scale is designed to ensure that our mental health support is accessible to all members of the GET ELEVATED community, regardless of their financial situation.
Here’s how it works:

Income Assessment

  • When a community member expresses interest in the counselling services, our staff will conduct a confidential assessment of their household income.
  • We ask for documentation, such as pay stubs or tax returns, to verify the individual's or household's financial status.

Fee Determination

  • Based on the income assessment, we assign a fee tier that corresponds to the individual's or household's ability to pay.
  • The fees range from $0 (fully subsidized) to $120 per session, with several intermediate tiers in between.

Tier Structure

  • The specific income thresholds for each fee tier are as follows
  • Tier 1 (Free): Household income below $30,000 per year
  • Tier 2 ($... per session): Household income between $30,001 and $45,000 per year
  • Tier 3 ($.. per session): Household income between $45,001 and $60,000 per year
  • Tier 4 ($.. per session): Household income between $60,001 and $75,000 per year
  • Tier 5 ($... per session): Household income between $75,001 and $90,000 per year
  • Tier 6 ($... per session): Household income between $90,001 and $105,000 per year
  • Tier 7 ($... per session): Household income above $105,000 per year

Flexibility and Reassessment

  • We understand that financial situations can change, so we're willing to reassess the fee tier if a community member's circumstances have
  • Our staff can work with individuals to determine the appropriate fee tier and make adjustments as needed.
  • By offering this sliding scale structure, we aim to remove the financial barriers that often prevent people from accessing mental health services. We encourage all interested community members to speak with our staff about the counselling options and the sliding scale fees.
