Lagos is gearing up for one of the most influential leadership events of the year as the 2nd Edition of the Global Leaders Awards is scheduled to take place on February 12, 2026, at the Radisson Blu Anchorage Hotel, 1A Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue, Victoria Island.
Organized as a premier celebration of excellence, the annual event recognizes individuals who have made exceptional contributions to national development, humanitarian service, corporate leadership, and community impact. This year’s edition also extends honours to distinguished Nigerians in the diaspora, acknowledging their global achievements and their role in promoting Nigeria’s image worldwide.

Distinguished Guests and Keynote Speakers
The event will feature a keynote address by Tony Elumelu, Chairman of the Tony Elumelu Foundation and one of Africa’s most influential business leaders.
The Chairman of the event is His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, who will also serve as Father of the Day, bringing royal prestige to the ceremony.
Prominent spiritual leader Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), will be honoured as Africa’s Best Rated General Overseer of the Year for his outstanding humanitarian and transformational initiatives.
In the business category, Dr. Chris Atu, CEO of Freightliner Logistics Ltd, will receive the award for Africa’s Best Rated Business Personality of the Year, recognising his exceptional contributions to the logistics and supply chain sector.
Renowned industrialist Dr. Folashade Okoya and several other accomplished personalities are also slated to receive the highly regarded Global Brand Awards, celebrating excellence in entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership.
The red carpet is scheduled for 5:00 PM, while the main event begins at 6:00 PM. Attendance is strictly by invitation, reflecting the high-profile nature of the gathering.
